EYEsee's Board of Advisors offers guidance to help EYEsee achieve its stated mission and vision. These Board Advisors share their wisdom, knowledge, experience, and professional expertise during the planning and execution of EYEsee's various programs.


Rev. Corey Brost, C.S.V.

Father Corey is the President of Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He is a member of the Clerics of Saint Viator for more than 25 years. He has worked as a youth educator and campus minister for Viatorian schools and parishes throughout the country. He helped found an agency that served homeless families in Las Vegas by providing shelter for them in churches. Prior to his current assignment, Fr. Corey served as vice president of mission effectiveness. He earned his undergraduate degree in journalism and a law degree from the University of Illinois. Fr. Corey was ordained a priest in 2006 after earning a master’s degree in pastoral studies at Loyola University and in divinity at Catholic Theological Union.

Dr. David J. Tabak, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Tabak has a private optometric practice in Barrington, Illinois, specializing in contact lenses and primary eye care, including treatment of eye injuries, diseases of the eye, and co-management of refractive surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association.
